The 2017 F2000 Champion started from the outside of the front row, taking the lead on the start and dominating the all-green-flag race, emerging victorious over Saturday winner and current points leader Steve Jenks, while James Roe completed the podium ahead of Rob Allaer and Simon Sikes.

Lexington, OH – From pole, Steve Jenks controlled the pace and the race in round seven of the 2018 F2000 Championship Series season at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, prevailing to take his third win of the season on an extremely hot afternoon. Jenks evaded his pursuers, and beat out local expert John LaRue to the win, while Brandon Dixon completed the podium.

Lexington, OH - John LaRue set a fast time of 1:24.684 to lead afternoon practice at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in F2000 Championship Series competition. Lexington, OH – The hissing sound of tire pressures being bled down combined with damper adjustments and wing changes were just a few of the agenda items taking place on a busy pit road during practice on Friday for the F2000 Championship Series at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. Steve Jenks turned in the fastest lap for Tumenas Motorsports, cementing his place as fastest late in the morning session with a lap of 1:24.472 to lead Brandon Dixon and John LaRue as the top seven cars were covered by a slim eight tenths of a second.
